Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium will resume hosting the Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights from June, with guests including Union Station’s Dan Tyminski, the Del McCoury Band, and Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.
Each concert, from 7.30pm CT, will be preceded by a Pickin’ on the Plaza pre-show event, on the venue’s PNC Plaze, sponsored by Springer Mountain Farms and Farm Bureau Health Plans. These curtain-raisers will feature live music from local bluegrass artists and bands, presented by historic broadcaster 650 AM WSM.
Bluegrass veteran Del McCoury and his band will open the season on June 23, with dates booked every Thursday until July 28. Earls of Leicester, Dailey & Vincent, and the Steeldrivers will also star in their own shows. Audiences will be able to buy tickets for individual shows when they go on sale on February 11 at 10am CT; season passes for all six concerts are available now.
Tyminski, who has played with Alison Krauss and Union Station since 1994 in addition to his work in his own name, has a busy schedule of solo shows starting in February and running through the spring and summer. Details are available at his website.
