Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote organization is teaming up with Live Nation Urban, ONE Musicfest, The New Georgia Project, BET, More Than A Vote, and others for a star-studded drive-in concert experience in Atlanta, ahead of the January 5 senate runoff election. “Celebrate Georgia!” will take place on January 3 at the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta, GA, and feature performances by local and national talent, including Rick Ross, Monica, Jack Harlow, and others. Segments featuring Common, Jeezy, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, and Michelle Obama will also be featured throughout the event.

When We All Vote is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that is on a mission to increase participation in every election. This year, the organization helped more than 18,000 Georgians get registered and ready to vote. In the lead up to the runoff, more than 3,000 Georgia voters registered with When We All Vote.

“Celebrate Georgia!” will remind voters of their power and inspire them to make their voices heard again on Election Day.

In addition to the artists listed above, fans can look forward to performances by Pastor Troy and DJ Drama, while the show will also feature segments by Janelle Monáe, Chris Paul, Jidenna, Darren Criss, Sophia Bush, Tommy Dorfman, and more.

Music fans can visit the event’s official website to catch the live-stream, or to learn more about attending the socially-distanced concert.

When We All Vote ambassador Common, meanwhile, has been an active voice throughout the year – participating in a variety of live-stream events. Over the weekend, the Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist, actor and activist performed at Global Citizen’s award special, which honored the year’s most inspiring activists and leaders. The virtual event also featured music from Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Gwen Stefani, JoJo, Tori Kelly, and John Legend, who served as the evening’s host. Among the evening’s winners was Sir Elton John, who was honored as Global Citizen’s Artist of the year.

Earlier this fall, Common surprised fans with his surprise album, A Beautiful Revolution Pt 1. The inspiring and timely project featured a variety of contributors, including Stevie Wonder, Chuck D, Lenny Kravitz, The Roots’ Black Thought, and Robert Glasper.
