Final CMT Music Awards Performer Line-Up Pairs Chris Stapleton And H.E.R.
Ingrid Andress will also make her CMT main stage debut in a world premiere performance with J.P. Saxe.
The final line-up of performers and presenters for the 2021 CMT Music Awards has been confirmed, and will include a live collaboration between Chris Stapleton and, in her first country awards show appearance, Californian R&B singer-songwriter H.E.R.
Additionally, Ingrid Andress will make her CMT main stage debut in a world premiere performance with J.P. Saxe. The show will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, and will air this Wednesday (June 9) at 8pm ET/7pm CT on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, TV Land, and CMT Australia.
Countless major stars and Hollywood heavyweights have also been confirmed as presenters on the show. They come from the worlds of music, television, sports, and entertainment, and include Anthony Mackie, Brett Young, Busy Philipps, Carly Pearce, Dylan Scott, Gladys Knight, Iliza Shlesinger, Little Big Town, Michael Strahan, Mickey Guyton, Restless Road, Tennessee Titans’ Taylor Lewan, Trace Adkins, and CMT Hot 20 Countdown hosts Cody Alan, Katie Cook and Ashley ShahAhmadi.
A wealth of collaborations
The entirely fan-voted show, the only such awards night in country music, will also feature a wealth of previously-confirmed performance across its two and a half hour duration. They include BRELAND + Mickey Guyton; Brothers Osborne + Dierks Bentley; Carrie Underwood + NEEDTOBREATHE; Chris Young + Kane Brown; Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini + Paul Klein from LANY; Lady A + Carly Pearce + Lindsay Ell; Lauren Alaina + Jon Pardi; Luke Bryan; Luke Combs; Mickey Guyton + Gladys Knight; Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram + Jon Randall; and Thomas Rhett. There will also be performances from the Ram Trucks Side Stage by Blanco Brown, Dylan Scott, Hailey Whitters, Lainey Wilson, Niko Moon, and Tenille Arts.
Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert have four nominations each at the awards. Ballerini and Brown have three nods each, as do Little Big Town and Mickey Guyton. Voting for the six Video of the Year finalists remains open at vote.cmt.com.
