The Chemical Brothers Confirmed For Portugal’s NOS Alive 2019

The Chemical Brothers, Vampire Weekend and Cut Copy have been confirmed for Portugal’s NOS Alive 2019 festival. They’ll join previously announced stars including The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten, Tash Sultana and more.
Next year’s NOS Alive takes place from 11th-13th July in Lisbon. Last year’s festival saw sets from Arctic Monkeys, Future Islands, Franz Ferdinand, The National, Queens Of The Stone Age and many more.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, The Chemical Brothers also recently released details of their forthcoming new album. Entitled No Geography, the long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s UK chart-topping Born In The Echoes which is set for release in Spring 2019. The album is set to feature the band’s new single ‘Free Yourself’, though a full tracklist is yet to be revealed.
In addition to their much-anticipated new album, the electronic music pioneers have revealed details of North American dates for May 2019 and UK dates for November 2019. Fans in the United States hoping to see the band’s much-acclaimed live show will need to hit one of two shows in Los Angeles or one in San Francisco. The Black Madonna have been names as support at all the band’s U.S. dates. Tickets for the shows went on general sale on Friday 7 December.
