The Chemical Brothers Announce New Track, ‘MAH’
The new track will receive its world premiere on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music show ‘Beats 1’ tomorrow.
Following the announcement of their November 2019 arena tour, The Chemical Brothers are set to hit the ground running in 2019 by dropping a brand new track entitled MAH this coming Monday, 7 January. The new song has already become a live favourite and it is due to receive its world premiere on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music show Beats 1 at 5pm GMT tomorrow.
As uDiscover Music reported, the electronic music pioneers previously announced they would be releasing a new studio album entitled No Geography – the long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s chart-topping ‘Born In The Echoes’ – in the spring of 2019. The duo had recently been teasing the arrival of new music, before confirming the arrival of MAH on their social media platforms this afternoon.
Excitement has been building around The Chemical Brothers’ new material for the past few months. In September, the band released a widely-acclaimed single ‘Free Yourself’, which was accompanied by an exceptional video directed by the band’s long-standing visual collaborators, Dom & Nic. The same team were previously responsible for the videos for Chemical Brothers hits such as ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, ‘Setting Sun’ and the award winning ‘Wide Open’.
In support of their forthcoming album, The Chemical Brothers have announced a series of live dates, with more still to be announced. They play the following shows in 2019:
