Chasing Grace Rising Fast
English four-piece Chasing Grace are rising fast with their debut release for chart-topping Naughty Boy’s own label.
The melodic, modern pop quartet from Hertfordshire have their debut album ‘Nowhere Near Old Enough’ and its lead single ‘Tonight’ just released on Naughty Boy Recordings, via Island. The group comprises old school friends Grace Ackerman (cocals), Phil Plested (vocals and acoustic guitar), Phil Leigh (electric guitar and keyboards) and Matt Holmes (drums).
In the past year, the band have been mixing in good company at their own ‘Chasing Grace and Friends’ residency in various London venues such as the Social, the Lexington and the Old Queen’s Head. During those nights, they’ve shared the stage with such chart giants as Emeli Sandé and Jessie J, as well as fellow up-and-coming names including Lauren Aquilina, Context, JP Cooper and Max Marshall. The residency came after Chasing Grace supported both Ellie Goulding and Naughty Boy himself, and opened shows for Sam Smith and John Newman.
The track listing for ‘Nowhere Near Old Enough’ is ’Free,’ ‘Even If I Could, ‘Silence Says It All, ‘Another Type of Love,’ ‘Hercules,’ ‘Alice,’ ‘Run,’ ‘Can’t Believe,’ ‘Tonight,’ ‘Very Little Good,’ ‘Lost Time’ and a bonus acoustic version of ‘Trust.’
