Carrie Underwood Sets North American ‘Denim & Rhinestones’ Tour Dates
The country star will hit the road in support of her upcoming record this fall
Carrie Underwood has announced an extensive raft of North American tour dates in support of her upcoming album Denim & Rhinestones.
The run of shows will kick off in Greenville, SC on October 15, until an appearance in San Francisco, CA on November 19. The tour will then resume in Miami, FL on February 2, and conclude in Seattle, WA on March 17.
“I’m thrilled to be hitting the road again with the Denim & Rhinestones tour,” Underwood said in a press release. “I’m having such an amazing time with my Las Vegas residency and look forward to continuing that next year after the tour.
“I’m excited to bring the new music of Denim & Rhinestones to life on tour, as well as put new spins on familiar favorites. We’ve been working hard already preparing for an amazing show, and I can’t wait to see everyone on the road!”
The country icon will be joined by support act Jimmie Allen on the tour, while the show’s production and design have been handled by director and choreographer Barry Lather (who has previously worked with the likes of Mariah Carey and Rihanna), and lighting designer and creative director Nick Whitehouse (a collaborator of Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé’s).
Tickets for the Denim & Rhinestones tour will go on sale at 10am local time on Friday (May 20) and will be available to purchase here. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, which helps veterans, first responders, and the families of fallen frontline members secure mortgage-free homes.
Underwood will wrap up her Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency show this weekend (May 21) at the 5,000-capacity Resorts World Theater. She is the first artist to perform at the brand new, state-of-the-art theater, bringing to its stage a show that revisits some of the highlights of her remarkable recording and touring career.
Meanwhile, Denim & Rhinestones will be released on June 10 via Capitol Records. The star worked on the record with David Garcia, who co-produced her 2018 album Cry Pretty and 2021’s Grammy Award-winning album of gospel hymns, My Savior.
