Carrie Underwood Shares Details On New Album ‘Cry Pretty’
Carrie Underwood has shared the track listing and collaborating songwriters today for her sixth studio album Cry Pretty, due out 14 September.
With her sixth studio album coming out less than a month away, Carrie Underwood shared the track listing and collaborating songwriters today for Cry Pretty, due out 14 September.
Taking the reins as a co-producer for the very first time, Underwood co-wrote nine of the songs featured on the album, making it one of her most personal statements.
For Cry Pretty, Underwood teamed up with in-demand Nashville producer and songwriter David Garcia, who has worked with the likes of other country-pop greats including Kip Moore, Sam Hunt, Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line, among others.
The Grammy-award winning singer has released one single off the new album, the title track ‘Cry Pretty’, written by Underwood with Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose (The Love Junkies).
Upon release, the anthemic single landed on Billboard Hot 100 and Underwood debuted it during an emotional performance at Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Cry Pretty will also include the bonus track, ‘The Champion’, co-written by Underwood and featuring the rapper Ludacris, which opened NBC’s Super Bowl LII.
The country superstar also previously announced a new arena tour, The Cry Pretty Tour 360 that kicks off 1 May in Greensboro, NC and will be joined by Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.
