The Cadillac Three Confirmed For Ramblin’ Man Fair
The Cadillac Three are the latest special guests to be confirmed for the 2018 Ramblin’ Man Fair. The much-acclaimed Nashville, Tennessee roots-rockers who are still touring their latest studio album, Legacy, will play on the festival’s first night, Saturday 30 June.
Featuring Jaren Johnston, Kelby Ray and Neil Mason, The Cadillac Three have an impeccable Nashville pedigree. Songwriter and guitarist Johnson writes most of their songs (he is also a Grammy-nominated writer for other acts), though Legacy – the follow-up to Bury Me In My Boots – also featured collaborations with fellow songwriters Lori McKenna, Jonathan Singleton, Laura Veltz and more.
Johnston, Ray and Mason last touched down in the UK and Ireland in November, when they played a 10-date tour which included a critically-hailed show at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum. They are currently on the North American leg of their Long Hair Don’t Care tour which runs through February, March and April and wraps with a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on 4 May. However, more dates are still expected to be announced.
The Cadillac Three last stormed the Ramblin’ Man Fair stage during the 2016 festival and they are the latest addition to another enviable line-up of classic rock, progressive rock, blues and roots artists already lined up for the 2018 event. As previously reported by uDiscover Music, this year’s event is set to be headlined by The Cult, Steve Earle & The Dukes and Halestorm, while the diverse bill also includes performers as diverse as Gov’t Mule, Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind and former Marillion frontman Fish. Last week it was announced that comedic LA glam-rockers Steel Panther had also been added to the bill.
Described by Classic Rock magazine as “the best new festival in Britain”, the 2018 Ramblin’ Man Fair takes place on 30 June and 1 July and the event is sited at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent.
