Bacharach Back In UK In June
Master songwriter, producer and arranger Burt Bacharach has announced that he will return to the UK for a new concert tour in June and early July. The shows will include a London date at the Royal Festival Hall at which special guest artists will help to perform songs from his peerless catalogue.
Bacharach, who will be 87 by the time of the visit, will have his work celebrated at the London show as the subject of the annual ‘A Life In Song’ series, which has previously honoured Sir Tim Rice, Don Black, Tony Hatch and David Arnold among others.
Bacharach will be performing with his full band and an orchestra at the Manchester Bridgewater Hall (June 30), Birmingham Symphony Hall (July 1) and Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre (July 5). He and his band will also perform, without the orchestra, at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (July 3) and Bristol Colston Hall (July 8). Tickets for all the shows go on sale on January 30, with the exception of the Royal Festival Hall on February 6.
Prior to crossing the Atlantic, Bacharach continues his busy domestic touring itinerary tonight (28) with a show in Tuscon, Arizona. He then plays in Las Vegas on Friday; Indigo, California on February 22; Durham, North Carolina March 4; Red Bank, New Jersey March 6; and Englewood, New Jersey on March 7.

I saw Burt Bacharach perform in Las Vegas and this concert was truly an experience I will never forget. The whole event was classy and beautiful and filled with all of the songs that I remember through the years of my life, that I have loved. Burt Bacharach is still one of the very very best even today !!

Please come to Carmel,IN the Palladium. World class venue. I’m a huge fan….love the hidden gems and your use of Fluegel horn, oboe, trumpet with Harmon mutes (Raindrops from Butch Cassidy soundtrack version is Burt’s sound). Anyway I’m rambling. My life is enriched because of your songs. Many thanks.

We saw Burt Bacharach at the Count Basie, Red Bank, NJ March 6th. It was a phenomenal show, he is stupendously a delight! Entire show and musicians played with such enjoyment. Burt ended the show with Alfie just his voice and the piano, it was beautiful and moving. He is still a extraordinarily attractive man with such style and grace. I wish I could have been one of his wives.

Had the pleasure of experiencing the music of the fabulous Burt Bacharach in Englewood NJ on March 7, 2015. The man is a musical genius. This is the second time I have attended one of his concerts and would do it again and again.
