BTS announced that their latest tour documentary, Break The Silence: The Movie will be released to movie theaters in over 70 countries this fall. The film will open in select markets, including the UK, beginning September 10, while US audiences can look forward to a theatrical premiere on September 24. Tickets go on sale August 13.

Break The Silence was captured during the group’s 2019’s “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour, which included stops at arenas in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka, Shizuoka, Riyadh, and Seoul. The sold-out run was the group’s most successful tour to-date and made BTS one of the highest-selling (and fastest-selling) touring acts in the world.

According to the Break The Silence site, fans can expect “unprecedented access,” as the film’s crew “travels with BTS throughout the tour, exploring each band member behind the curtain. Offstage, we see another side of BTS. The seven members begin to candidly tell personal stories they have never voiced before.”

While a full list of theaters, premiere dates, and more can be found on the documentary’s official website, all showtimes are subject to change, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In related news, BTS are readying to release an early taste of their forthcoming album. Last weekend, they announced that their new single, the English-language “Dynamite” would be available August 21. BTS also revealed that the new album, meanwhile, would be available later this year.

The BTS ARMY can also look forward to the band’s debut performance at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, broadcasting live from Brooklyn on August 30. The group is up for three nominations, including Best K-Pop, Best Pop, and Best Choreography for their “On” video. Fans can cast their votes via MTV’s website.
