Country stars and five-time Grammy nominees Brothers Osborne will make their daytime US television debut on Ellen on 2 April. They’ll be performing their current single ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You),’ from their sophomore album Port Saint Joe.
The Maryland-born, Nashville-based brothers T.J. and John Osborne are currently on tour with their band, with an itinerary that continues tonight (22) in Little Rock, AR. The hard-working outfit have shows booked until November 2019 and the run includes April dates in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. They’ll also perform at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville on 6 and 7 June. Last year, the tour’s international leg included a six-date sojourn in the UK, culminating in a London headliner in early December at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town.
After two Grammy nominations for Port Saint Joe, Brothers Osborne have four nods for the 54th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, which take place on 7 April at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. They’re up for Duo of The Year, Video of the Year for the album’s ‘Shoot Me Straight’ and as part of Dierks Bentley’s video for ‘Burning Man,’ which track also earned a Music Event of the Year nomination. Last year’s ACMs were a happy hunting ground for the pair, with awards as Duo of the Year and for Video of the Year.
Port Saint Joe, produced by Jay Joyce, has won widespread acclaim and success, debuting at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in May 2018. Its predecessor, 2016’s Pawn Shop, hit that chart at No. 3. ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)’ climbs 48-44 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for March 18, in its 18th week on the chart. The duo are also featured on Maren Morris’ ‘All My Favourite People,’ which debuts at No. 46 on the Hot Country Songs chart for the same week.
