Brothers Osborne Preview Third Album With Feelgood Single ‘All Night’
The EMI Nashville pair of John and T.J. Osborne wrote the new track with Andrew DeRoberts.
CMA Award-winning country duo Brothers Osborne today (18) release their new single ‘All Night’ to country radio. It’s the first taste of their much-anticipated third studio album, and is available on digital plaforms now.
The EMI Nashville pair of John and T.J. Osborne wrote the new track with Andrew DeRoberts, and it again sees them teaming with producer Jay Joyce. ‘All Night’ was recorded at Joyce’s studio in East Nashville and showcases the infectious, rocking style that’s become part of their signature sound. “It’s an instant ear worm that has hooks for days and an immediately catchy chorus,” wrote All Access.
“Crank this one up”
“We love to write very heartfelt, deep songs,” says T.J., “but every now and again you need a song that’s just about having a good time and partying and letting your hair down and not overthinking it.” Adds John: “That’s the type of song I feel like the world could use right now with all the stress that we’re going through, so put on your dancing boots, crank this one up and commence to dancin’.”
Next month, they’re booked as part of CMT’s all-star special airing on 3 June, CMT Celebrates Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special. As reported, this is airing in the slot previously planned for the CMT Awards, which have now moved to 14 October. Others starring in the June show include Brandi Carlile, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Little Big Town.
Awards and nominations to burn
Brothers Osborne received their sixth Grammy nomination for this year’s awards in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for the hit ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You).’ They were previously nominated for their platinum-certified No. 1 smash ‘Stay A Little Longer,’ the top ten hit ‘It Ain’t My Fault’ (also platinum) and the top 25 hit ’21 Summer.’
