‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallow’ Among The Winners At 2019 Golden Globes
Presented by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh, the 76th Golden Globes came from the Beverley Hills Hinton in California.
The much-acclaimed Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody and Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallow’ from A Star Is Born were among the success stories at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
Starting off the night early, ‘Shallow’ – with music and lyrics by Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt – won Best Original Song From A Motion Pictures, while Bohemian Rhapsody later scooped the prestigious Best Motion Picture (Drama). The two movies also went head to head in the Best Performance By An Actor In A Motion Picture category, wherein Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek just edged out A Star Is Born’s Bradley Cooper.
Also among the Golden Globes success stories was Rachel Brosnahan, who won Best Performance By An Actress In A Television Series (Musical Or Comedy), for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Elsewhere, Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse, which won Best Motion Picture (Animated).
The 76th Annual Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hinton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, where the event was graced by the who’s who of Hollywood.
