The creative partnered with the Marley estate to create a Bob-inspired meal earlier this month.

Williams, who is inspired by food, cannabis, and music, created a video putting all those together through the prism of Bob Marley.

uDiscoverMusic asked Williams a few questions regarding his relationship with Marley and his music.

When asked about what initially drew him to Bob and his music, Williams said: “My first time listening to Bob Marley was at family cook out when I was like ten years old, ‘Jammin’ was playing. At that age you don’t really comprehend what artist are saying in their songs, so it was the feeling his music gave me that made me ask my mom who singing?”

We also asked about his favorite Jamaican foods and Williams explained: “One of my favorite Jamaican foods is the Jamaican beef patty, that golden buttery crust and the depth of flavor from the ground beef. One of my favorite streets foods, anything that can be eaten and enjoyed on the go will always be undefeated.”

Lastly, we asked Williams what he would cook for the legendary reggae superstar if he ever got the opportunity. “If I had a chance to meet Bob, after smoking a couple joints I would cook one of his favorite dishes, Fish tea or fish soup,” he explained.

In other Bob Marley news, his classic “Three Little Birds” recently joined Spotify’s Billions Club. This marked Marley’s first track to reach the landmark.

“Three Little Birds,” is a study of beautiful, simple optimism. The song comes from Marley’s Exodus, which is one of the most influential records of all time. Released on June 3, 1977, the record includes not only “Three Little Birds,” but also beloved hits like “Jamming” and “One Love/People Get Ready.” Time magazine has called Exodus “the best album of the 20th century.” The making of the record plays a large part in the BET Award-winning film One Love, which was released earlier this year in theaters.
