Riot Fest will return to Chicago’s Douglas Park to celebrate its 15th anniversary with Blink-182, Slayer, Rise Against and Bikini Kill as headliners.

Along with the headliners, the festival also boasts 88 acts and will take place on 13-15 September. This year’s Riot Fest sees a number of reunions as well as farewell performances including Slayer’s final Chicago show and Blink-182’s make-up performance after having to cancel last year’s festival appearance due to Travis Barker’s health issues. Riot grrrl pioneers Bikini Kill will also continue their series of reunion gigs, playing their first full shows since 1997.

This year’s fest features another eclectic mix of veteran and indie acts including Jawbreaker, thrash icons Anthrax, Bob Mould, Guided by Voices, South African upstarts Die Antwoord, Patti Smith, Taking Back Sunday, Violent Femmes, Descendents, the B-52’s, Manchester Orchestra, Rancid, Dashboard Confessional and the Raconteurs, who return to play their first Chicago show in over a decade.

Fans will also get the rare opportunity to see many of these acts play some of their most iconic albums in their entirety including the Ween’s The Mollusk, Block Party’s Silent Alarm, Against Me!’s Transgender Dysphoria Blues, the Flaming Lips’s pioneering Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, Glassjaw’s Worship And Tribute, and the Selecter’s Too Much Pressure, among others.

Riot Fest initially started in 2005 spanning across multiple clubs and venues throughout Chicago before moving to Humboldt Park in 2012 and then settling into its current home in Douglas Park in 2015.

Tickets are on sale now, visit the festival’s official website for details and see the full line-up below.
