Austin City Limits Reveals 2019 Line-up: The Cure, Guns N’ Roses And Billie Eilish
The eclectic festival takes place at Austin’s Zilker Park over two weekends: 4-6 October and 11-13 October.
The Austin City Limits Music Festival has confirmed its 2019 line-up that includes Guns N’ Roses, Mumford & Sons, the Cure, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Robyn and Tame Impala as headliners.
The eclectic festival takes place at Austin’s Zilker Park over two weekends: 4-6 October and 11-13 October.
Cardi B will be making her ACL debut, and playing only weekend one, while Robyn will perform weekend two, and all the other headliners will perform on both weekends.
Along with the headliners listed, the festival will also feature performances from Kacey Musgraves, James Blake, Thom Yorke doing Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, Lizzo, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Rosalía and Kali Uchis, among others.
ACL marks the last US shows for Musgraves before she wraps up her world tour in Dominican Republic. The Grammy winning county superstar will also be playing a number of dates on the festival circuit including Lollapalooza, The Governors Ball in New York City, Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee and Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
As one of the biggest festivals in North America, Austin City Limits Festival has grown to two weekends, eight stages and over 130 bands. Among the headliners, Guns N’ Roses will be playing one of their first American festivals in a few years, while Childish Gambino will return to the festival after having to cancel last’s year’s appearance due to a an injury.
Like many modern music festivals, the organizers book artists from across eras and genres, with everything from 90s stalwarts Third Eye Blind, to up-and-comers like Sigrid and even contemporary Christian star Lauren Daigle.
The festival will also play host to various foot trucks, art experiences and exclusive merchandise.
Now in its 17th year, the festival has a more diverse bill than ever, hosting artists from all over the world including Natalia Lafourcade (Mexico), Koffee (Jamaica), Karol Conka (Brazil) and Monsieur Periné (Colombia), just to name a few.
