ATEEZ Announces Details Of Third Japanese Single ‘Not Okay’
The new release will arrive as the K-pop boyband continues to go from strength-to-strength globally
ATEEZ has announced details of its third Japanese single, “NOT OKAY,” which will contain two new original Japanese-language songs.
The new single – which follows 2023’s Japanese single “Limitless” – will be released digitally on February 28. A physical release will then arrive on April 12.
“NOT OKAY” will feature four tracks in total, including two Japanese original songs – the title track and “Days” – and instrumental versions of both. The physical single will be available in three forms – Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and a Standard Edition.
Both Limited Edition releases will include a CD and 36-page photobook, plus a slipcase and one selfie trading card. The Standard Edition release will come with a CD, a 12-page booklet, and one selfie trading card. The available selfie trading cards will vary, depending on the edition purchased.
ATEEZ previously topped the Oricon Charts in Japan in 2022 with its third EP, The World EP. Paradigm, and again in 2023 with The World EP.2: Outlaw. The group has also topped the Hot Album and Top Album Sales charts of Billboard Japan.
The eight-member boyband continues to grow internationally, with its most recent world tour, The Fellowship: Break The Wall, taking the group across Asia, North America, Europe, and Central and South America. The band kicked off a new tour, Towards The Light, in Seoul in January 2024. The run continued in Japan in early February, but further dates have yet to be announced.
In April, ATEEZ will become the first male K-pop act to perform at Coachella. The group will appear at the Californian festival on April 12 and 19, with the girl group LE SSERAFIM also due to perform on April 13 and 20. They follow in the footsteps of BLACKPINK, who first performed at the festival in 2019 before returning to headline in 2023.
