Ariana Grande Announces ‘Sweetener’ Concert Film
‘Excuse me, I Love You’ premieres December 21 on Netflix.
While touring may be off the table in 2020, Ariana Grande fans can spend their holidays re-living her ‘Sweetener’ tour from the comfort of their couches. The pop star’s concert film, Excuse Me, I Love You, drops December 21 on Netflix.
At just over 100 dates, Grande’s Sweetener World Tour ran from March 2019 through December, in support of 2018’s Sweetener and 2019’s Thank U, Next. Her highest-grossing tour to-date also produced Grande’s first-ever live album, K Bye for Now (SWT Live).

While few additional details were revealed about Excuse Me, I Love You, viewers can expect to catch the vocal powerhouse perform some of her best-loved hits, including “7 Rings,” “Break Free,” “No Tears Left to Cry,” and “Thank U, Next” – all of which were regularly on the tour’s set-list, They can also look forward to a visually-stunning spectacle, based around a spherical stage, with breathtaking costumes by Versace and Michael Ngo.
On select dates of the Sweetener World Tour, which spanned the US, UK, Europe, and Canada, Grande was joined by special guests, including Victoria Monét, 2 Chainz, as well as her former VICTORIOUS co-stars, Matt Bennett and Elizabeth Gillies. Over two weekends at Coachella, meanwhile, Grande performed alongside NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Mase, and Justin Bieber.
An emotional Grande ended her final night of the tour (in Inglewood, CA) with a teary, heartfelt speech to her fans and her crew.
Earlier this fall, the artist surprised fans by dropping a sultry new album, Positions. Grande’s sixth studio album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, marking her fifth No.1 record. The prolific artist also concurrently topped both the album and singles charts in the UK, with Positions and its title track. This rare feat has previously been achieved by the likes of Drake, Rihanna, Eminem, and Stormzy.
