Are The Stones Coming To Your ‘Zip Code’?
To coincide with the news of the upcoming deluxe reissue of their classic album ‘Sticky Fingers,’ the Rolling Stones have announced a new, 15-city ‘ZIP CODE’ tour of North America — to begin in less than eight weeks’ time, on May 24.
The tour will play in Columbus, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Detroit and Buffalo, before a final night in Quebec at Le Festival D’Été de Québec on July 15.
Tickets for these dates will go on sale Monday, 13 April, and more information is available at the Rolling Stones’ website. The tour, promoted by AEG Live’s Concerts West, marks the first time the Stones have played stadia in North America since 2005-2007’s ‘A Bigger Bang’ tour.
“We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer,” says Mick Jagger. “We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favourite songs.” Adds Keith Richards: “We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America! I can’t wait to get back on the stage!”
