Apple Music has shared the latest round of its much-anticipated ‘100 Best Albums of All Time’ collection. The selections from 60 down to 31 include releases from U2, The Rolling Stones, Drake, The Cure, Guns N’ Roses, The Beastie Boys, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Stevie Wonder, Public Enemy and more.

The latest titles have been released across the past three days, with numerous acclaimed releases making the cut. The Velvet Underground’s seismic The Velvet Underground & Nico comes in at No. 60, while The Cure’s 1989 classic Disintegration is at 56, John Coltrane’s highly influential A Love Supreme at 54, The Rolling Stones’ 1972 opus Exile On Main Street at 53 and Guns N’ Roses’ massive-selling Appetite For Destruction at 52.

Meanwhile, the ‘100 Best Albums Of All Time’ has now begun to reveal the titles voted from 49 down to 1. At No. 49 is U2’s The Joshua Tree, while The Beastie Boys’ sleeper hit, Paul’s Boutique lands at No.48. Further again up the list are Bob Marley & The Wailers’ stone classic Exodus (No. 46) from 1977, Stevie Wonder’s Innervisions (No. 44) and Public Enemy’s It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back at No. 34.

Apple Music has stated that the list is an editorial effort independent of streaming numbers. It was assembled by a team that includes artists like Maren Morris, Pharrell Williams, J Balvin, Charli XCX, Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, Honey Dijon, and Nia Archives, alongside other songwriters, producers, and music industry professionals.

Further new and exclusive content and Apple Music Radio episodes will arrive as the list is revealed across ten days. The top ten will be revealed on May 22 with a roundtable discussion between Nile Rodgers and Maggie Rogers as well as Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden.
