The diversity of these duets only further reflects his versatility: other featured artists include Celine Dion, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Hans Zimmer, and Dua Lipa. The album announcement arrives shortly after the Italian tenor’s headline performance at London’s BTS Park—in March, he performed a rendition of ‘Time To Say Goodbye” at the Oscars with his son Matteo and composer Hans Zimmer.
To accompany the release announcement, Bocelli also shared a new single with Twain, “Da Stanotte in Poi (From This Moment On),” a rework of Twain’s own 1997 hit “From This Moment On.” These glimpses of new music arrive just as a three-day celebration at his home in Lajatico kicks off, all to be captured by Taylor Swift—The Eras Tour director Sam Wrench for a global release this fall. The concert film will be titled ANDREA BOCELLI 30: THE CELEBRATION. Separately, a documentary on the artist, Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe, is also set for cinemas this fall.
Of dueting with diverse talents across his career, Bocelli offers in a statement: “To mix voices, mix the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time. Something intimate and deep is established between the two voices that sing a duet. We singers are in constant search of colleagues able to give life to this alchemy.”
