Rare Amy Winehouse Live Tracks Released Today
‘I Told You I Was Trouble: Live In London’ will be released in weekly, four-track increments.
A 2007 performance by Amy Winehouse – captured at London’s legendary Shepherd’s Bush Empire – is rolling out across digital and streaming platforms this month. The collection, entitled I Told You I Was Trouble: Live In London, will be released in weekly, four-song increments, beginning today.
Available now are the opening songs of Winehouse’s rousing set – captured at the height of her career. They include jazz-infused renditions of “Addicted” and “Just Friends,” off Back to Black, plus “Cherry,” off Winehouse’s debut, Frank. The set ends with a jaunty rendition of Winehouse’s hit “Back to Black,” in which the artist’s vocal abilities shine to their fullest.
The EP also includes interstitial conversation between Winehouse and her audience, giving the listener the ultimate concert experience.
I Told You I Was Trouble: Live In London can be found in its entirety as part of the 5CD box set The Collection. Released in November, The Collection includes Winehouse’s two studio albums, Frank and Back To Black, plus the posthumously-released Lioness: Hidden Treasures, featuring unreleased tracks, covers, and demos. In addition to I Told You I Was Trouble, the set also includes a disc of remixes from Frank and Back To Black, including Hot Chip’s take on the iconic “Rehab.”
In related news, fashion house Fred Perry shared an intriguing tweet yesterday, hinting that they’ll be teaming up with The Amy Winehouse Foundation for a new line inspired by the late singer-songwriter. In 2010, Winehouse collaborated with the brand on a collection of vintage-inspired looks.
Established in 2011, The Amy Winehouse Foundation offers a variety of support systems to young people – particularly those who are struggling with substance and alcohol abuse. Their services include music therapy, recovery support, and Amy’s Place, which offers recovery housing for young women.

The Amy album has been available to download for years it’s not rare at all the whole shows on Youtube. What needs to be released are the rare demos -sadly some were deliberately destroyed – or the studio rehearsals and alternate takes like what Salaam Remi has,the missing live performances like Amy at All music or Rock Werchter for example.
