Over the summer, the Cranberries released a new remix of their iconic 1993 single “Linger” by Iain Cook from Chvrches. Cook’s lush, orchestral backing for the late Dolores O’Riordan’s vocal puts an alternative rock classic in a whole new light. “He reimagined the song completely, creating a fresh and upbeat version of this classic,” Cranberries drummer Fergal Lawler said upon the remix’s release.

Godsmack recently had massive success bringing their 2003 album Faceless to vinyl for the first time in a new remastered edition. Upon the reissue’s release in August, Faceless enjoyed a 19,000% increase in sales, surged onto Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart, and returned to the Top Album Sales chart. Faceless was Godsmack’s first No. 1 entry on the Billboard 200, kicking off a string of three straight chart-topping albums. It included Godsmack’s first single to crack the Hot 100, “Straight Out of Line.”

Shania Twain’s 1997 blockbuster Come On Over was reissued in 2023 in a range of expanded 25th anniversary packages and International Diamond Editions. Certified as the bestselling country album by a woman of all time, Come On Over boasts more than 40 million in worldwide sales. It confirmed Twain’s status as a crossover superstar, spawning a whopping 12 singles including “You’re Still The One,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

Nelly Furtado’s 2000 full-length debut Whoa, Nelly! recently was pressed on vinyl for the first time. The album, which includes the Grammy-winning Platinum single “I’m Like A Bird” plus “Hey, Man!” and “Turn Off The Light,” was released in a 2xLP package including five bonus tracks. One of those tracks, “Turn Off The Light (Timbaland Full Mix Version),” marks the beginning of Furtado’s fruitful creative partnership with Timbaland.
