Brothers Osborne, Mickey Guyton Among CMT Music Awards Performers
Brothers Osborne will team with Dierks Bentley on the show, while Guyton will duet with soul queen Gladys Knight.
Brothers Osborne, Mickey Guyton, and Chris Stapleton are among the first round of artists confirmed as performers at the 2021 CMT Music Awards.
The fan-voted show airs on June 9 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, and TV Land. The initial performers’ list features many of the one-of-a-kind collaborations, between superstars of country and beyond, for which the awards are famous.
Highlights include the combinations of Brothers Osborne with Dierks Bentley, and Guyton duetting with soul queen Gladys Knight. Maren Morris will sing with Canadian Grammy nominee JP Saxe.
Last week’s nominations announcement for the awards had Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert tied with four nods apiece; show hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown have three each, as do Little Big Town and Guyton. Fan voting continues at vote.cmt.com until Tuesday, June 1 at 3pm ET/2pm CT.
The 2021 CMT Music Awards is executive produced by CMT’s Margaret Comeaux, Switched On Entertainment’s John Hamlin, and Amy Lin Johnson.
