2018 Lollapalooza: The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys Lead Line-Up
The long-running annual Lollapalooza festival returns to Chicago’s Grant Park this summer, starting 2 August until 5 August.
The festival retains its eclectic line-up, with the The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Jack White, and Arctic Monkeys announced as headliners today, along with a steady stock of hip-hop acts including Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Tyler the Creator, Gucci Mane, Brockhampton and LL Cool J.
Not forgetting its rock roots, the fest also includes Vampire Weekend’s first US show in four years along with The National, St Vincent, Stars, Portugal. The Man, Franz Ferdinand Greta Van Fleet and Chvrches. Newcomers Pale Waves, Clairo and 200 other acts that includes comedy, electronic and other performers.
R&B acts are also represented, with Khalid, UK’s Jessie Ware, Kali Uchis, Dua Lipa and former Fifth Harmony member turned solo act, Camilo Cabello on the bill.
The festival’s founder and Jane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros singer Perry Farrell will also be premiering his new project, Kind Heaven, with “an all-star line-up of guest musicians” to perform new music from his upcoming solo album. Farrell also recently announced details about his new project in Las Vegas: “a one-of-a-kind immersive complex that will transport attendees into another world”, as detailed in Forbes.
Tickets for four-day passes ($335 plus fees) remain on sale at lollapalooza.com. Single-day tickets will become available once the four-day passes have sold out.

Since its original incarnation in 1991, Lollapalooza has expanded across the globe, with festivals in São Paulo (23-25 March 2018), Paris (21-22 July), Berlin (8-9 September 2018), Santiago (16-18 March) and Buenos Aires (16-18 March).
Last year’s line-up was just as impressive, featuring Arcade Fire, Chance the Rapper, and Muse as the headliners, along with Lorde, Blink-182, The xx, Justice, Run the Jewels, Ryan Adams, Tegan and Sara, The Shins, and Mac DeMarco.
