The 1975 have released a video for their new track ‘Love It If We Made It’, which is taken from the band’s much-anticipated new album A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships, due for release on 30 November. You can watch it above.
The new video was directed by TK. The visual features clips and images of a litany of recent events and notable figures: Brett Kavanaugh, the murder of Eric Garner, Lil Peep, Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein, the death of 3-year-old Syrian boy Alan Kurdi, and much more. It ends with a list of organizations and movements (e.g., #MeToo, Black Lives Matter, It Gets Better, and more).
As uDiscover Music previously reported, the band unveiled the tracklist for A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships during September, while they also announced a major UK and Irish tour in support for early 2019.
The gigs kick off on 9 January at the SSE Arena and conclude on 25 January at Sheffield’s FlyDSA Arena, with the band playing London’s 02 on 18 January. Support at all shows comes from Pale Waves and No Rome. In addition, The 1975 have now announced a major North American tour to follow their UK and European dates in 2019. The gigs kick off in Guadalajara, Mexico, 20 March and conclude on 3 June in Toronto, Canada.
