Heaton & Abbott’s Silver Album, New Single
British duo Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott will release ‘(Man Is) The Biggest Witch Of All’ as the third single from their Wisdom, Laughter and Lines. The focus date for the single is 25 March, as the former Beautiful South pair prepare for a new UK tour starting 10 March, and with the album having been certified silver by the BPI last week for more than 60,000 UK sales.
The two previous singles from the album, ‘The Austerity of Love’ and ‘I Don’t See Them,’ both went straight onto the A-list of the BBC Radio 2 playlist. The album’s success follows the gold certification, last October, of the duo’s What Have We Become, which saw them recording together for the first time since their time in the Beautiful South.
