Vitamin String Quartet Announce New Album ‘It Feels Like Christmas’

Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ), one of the most popular contemporary string ensembles in the world, will release their new album, It Feels Like Christmas, on 15 October 2021. The group behind Netflix’s hit Bridgerton soundtrack have reimagined today’s biggest Christmas hits including ‘All I Want For Christmas’ (Mariah Carey), ‘Mistletoe’ (Justin Bieber), ‘Santa Tell Me’ (Ariana Grande), and ‘Christmas Lights’ (Coldplay). Vitamin String Quartet released the first single from It Feels Like Christmas, their unique interpretation of 80s Christmas classic ‘Last Christmas’ (Wham!), today.

Since the project’s start in 1999, Vitamin String Quartet has helped establish classical crossover as a genuine force in contemporary music. Across over 300 releases, and over one billion streams, VSQ have produced cutting-edge string renditions of a highly eclectic mix of artists erasing boundaries between classical, dance, hip-hop, rock, and pop. From BTS to Björk, and Studio Ghibli to My Chemical Romance, their heartfelt renditions breathe new life into music they already love.

Fresh from high-profile placements in Netflix hit Bridgerton and Universal’s The King of Staten Island, Vitamin String Quartet has “reached a mainstream, global audience” (Variety), “charmed the world with their classical covers” (Nylon) and become one of the most popular contemporary string ensembles in the world.

Vitamin String Quartet’s music has been featured in many high-profile TV shows including Netflix’s Bridgerton, HBO’s Westworld, Showtime’s Shameless, and ABC’s Modern Family. The group appeared onscreen with 30 Seconds to Mars for an episode of MTV Unplugged as well as in an episode of Gossip Girl.

Vitamin String Quartet, based in Los Angeles, features a rotating cast of musicians and producers and frequently collaborates with animators, creators, and like-minded artists.
