‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: Season Two’ Soundtrack Out Now

The collection features music from Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and many others.

The soundtrack for the second season of the multi-Emmy Award-winning Amazon Prime Video series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Available now for streaming and download purchase through UMe.

The soundtrack features music from Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and many others and is also available for pre-order on CD and in black vinyl and limited-edition color vinyl LP packages to be released in 2019. The second season’s soundtrack will be released on CD on 29 March, followed by black and limited-edition color vinyl LP releases on 10 May.

The first season’s soundtrack is also available now for streaming and download purchase. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: Season One (Music from the Prime Original Series) will be released on CD on 25 January, followed by black and limited-edition opaque pink vinyl LP releases on 15 March.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Emmy Award-winning music supervision is overseen by creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, Executive Producer Daniel Palladino, and Music Supervisor Robin Urdang, carefully selecting music from the era to enhance and complement the show’s scenes and plotlines.

Season Two’s soundtrack features 15 classic master recordings heard in the show’s second season, including Barbra Streisand’s ‘Just Leave Everything To Me’ (and from Season One, Streisand’s ‘Happy Days Are Here Again’); Dean Martin’s ‘I’d Cry Like A Baby;’ Frank Sinatra and Keely Smith’s ‘How Are Ya’ Fixed For Love?;’ Billie Holiday’s ‘Autumn In New York;’ Ella Fitzgerald’s ‘Old Mother Hubbard,’ and Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World;’ as well as a song by supper club/cabaret performer Blossom Dearie and classic recordings by Sarah Vaughan; Julie London; Louis Prima with The Witnesses; Deborah Kerr, Marni Nixon, and Yul Brynner; Juliette Gréco; Patience & Prudence; and The Chordettes.

Season One’s soundtrack features 15 classic master recordings heard in the first season, including Barbra Streisand’s ‘Come To The Supermarket (In Old Peking);’ Frank Sinatra’s ‘Oh! Look At Me Now;’ The King Cole Trio’s ‘It’s Only A Paper Moon;’ Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Weston & His Orchestra’s ‘Isn’t This A Lovely Day?;’ Connie Francis’ ‘Who’s Sorry Now?;’ Peggy Lee’s ‘Pass Me By;’ and Julie London’s ‘Cry Me A River.’ The album also features two songs by Blossom Dearie and classic tracks by The Mills Brothers; The Pied Pipers; Sutton Foster, Vince Giordano And The Nighthawks; Maurice Evan and Rom Hussmann; and Cyril Ritchard with The Roar of the Greasepaint (The Smell of the Crowd Ensemble).

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel from renowned creator Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls) and Executive Producer Daniel Palladino (Family Guy) was written and directed by Sherman-Palladino and Palladino. It stars Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a New York City woman who has everything she’s ever wanted—the perfect husband, two kids, and an elegant Upper West Side apartment perfect for hosting Yom Kippur dinner. But her perfect life suddenly takes an unexpected turn and Midge discovers a previously unknown talent—one that changes her life forever.
