Supercharged spawned the hit single “Make It All Right,” which reached No. 1 on several Billboard charts including Alternative Rock, Alternative Airplay, Active Rock, and Rock & Alternative Airplay. The album was hailed as a reclamation of the Offspring’s signature sound, with AllMusic Guide noting, “The guys are aging gracefully, playing to their strengths—catchy, high-energy anthems that blend pop-punk with good ol’ fashioned hardcore.” Speaking to Billboard, frontman Dexter Holland explained the Offspring’s approach to the album like so: “It just felt like going kind of a little bit more direct was the right way to approach this record. I just wanted something that was energetic and really upbeat and just slamming in your face.”

In addition to the success of Supercharged, the Offspring notched a noteworthy milestone in 2024, with their 2008 single “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid!” joining the Spotify Billions Club. Guitarist Noodles told radio station 105.7 The Point that it was extra special to have a song from beyond the band’s 1990s radio heyday become one of their biggest streaming hits. “I remember when we were playing that song a couple years after it was released, playing it at festivals and realizing, ‘This thing’s going over bigger than “Pretty Fly,” bigger than “Self Esteem,”‘ or at least as big,” Noodles said. “I was like, ‘Wow, that rules!’”
