Morat Share New Song, ‘Cuarto De Hotel’
The latest single from the acclaimed Latin pop/rock band appears on the soundtrack of ‘El Secreto Del Orfebre,’ an adaptation of a romance novel.

Morat, the hugely popular Latin pop/rock band, have released a new song called “Cuarto De Hotel” (Hotel Room). The track is the lead theme of the Spanish film El Secreto Del Orfebre (The Goldsmith’s Secret), out February 28. Directed by Olga Osorio, the movie is an adaptation of Elia Barcelo’s acclaimed romance novel of the same name. The ’90s era rock ballad recalls a lost love that can return to mind “out of nowhere.”
Morat are the world’s most streamed Latin pop/rock group. Last year, they dropped a breezy, guitar-driven track called “Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver,” which translates to “In Case I Don’t See You Again.” The song is set to appear on Morat’s upcoming fifth album.
Another 2024 single, “Antes De Los 30 (En Sueño Desde Madrid)” was recorded live before a sold-out audience of 55,000 fans during the opening night of the band’s hugely successful Antes De Que Amanezca – Los Estadios tour.
In September, Morat gave the opening performance at the Hispanic Heritage Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. They performed a medley of their singles “506” and “Faltas Tú.”
In December, Morat celebrated a special milestone at the first of three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s GNP Seguros Stadium. “This show is important to us for several reasons: Today, Dec. 13th, we celebrate 13 years together. 13 years ago, the question arose, ‘What if we start a band?’” lead vocalist and guitarist Juan Pablo Isaza said to the audience, per Billboard. “Playing now for so many people is incredible. It looks just like we imagined it.”
On February 25, Morat will perform at the 64th annual Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile. Other performers include Marc Anthony, Ha*Ash, Carlos Vives, Miryam Hernández, Duki, Sebastián Yatra, and Bacilos.
