Universal Music Group Inks Deal With Chinese Pop Legend Liu Huan
The singer is known in his home country as the ‘King of Chinese Pop.’
Universal Music Group subsidiary Universal Music Greater China (UMGC) has announced an exclusive global agreement with Liu Huan, celebrated in the country as the “King of Chinese Pop.”
The multi-year deal includes both recording and music publishing rights for Huan’s work. UMG stated that it’s “the first time that Liu’s majority body of work…will be united under one umbrella.”
