The Rolling Stones’ Official ‘RS No.9’ Apparel Store Now Set To Open In Japan
The new store will opes in Harajuku, Tokyo on October 20, with a full range of exclusive products in stock.
RS No.9, The Rolling Stones’ official apparel store, is now launching in Japan. The second such store in the world after the first opened in London’s Carnaby Street, opens in Harajuku, Tokyo on October 20, with a full range of exclusive RS No. 9 products in stock.
RS No.9 is The Rolling Stones’ official flagship store, which opened on September 9, 2020 at 9 Carnaby Street in London’s Soho district as ‘RS No.9 Carnaby’, and it will now open its second shop in Harajuku, Tokyo. This project is the first event from the brand-new Universal Music Store Harajuku, which will open at the same time.

Apart from general artist concept stores, RS No.9 will be a full-fledged apparel store. The items range from embroidered and vintage processed items, T-shirts to jackets, expressing the artist view of The Rolling Stones and incorporating many elements of fashion trends. The store has a wide variety of products that are available in London, including hats, socks, umbrella, bandana and more. The shop also sells original Japanese products, which are sold exclusively at the shop.
Inside the shop, the London store concepts are recreated with the legendary “Lips & Tongue” objects, decorations with lyrics and a corner that resembles a recording booth, allowing customers to experience the world view of RS No.9.
In addition, record products and original special offers exclusive to the shop are available, and as part of the opening campaign for the three days from October 20 to 22, a limited number of customers can take a ride on the London Bus to celebrate the opening.
RS No.9 Carnaby is located on Carnaby Street, one of fashion and culture hotspot in London. Likewise, RS No.9 will be open on Harajuku Takeshita Street where holds the RS No.9 Harajuku store is also attracting worldwide attention same as the artist loved around the world. It is expected to attract demands outside of Japan as well as domestic demand.
The store is being launched along with Hackney Diamonds, The Rolling Stones’ first new studio album in 18 years, which is set for release on the same day.
