Billie Eilish, Lenny Kravitz To Perform At ‘Power Our Planet’ Concert In Paris
The free, ticketed event on June 22 will also feature H.E.R. and Jon Batiste.
During June, Billie Eilish will join the likes of Lenny Kravitz, H.E.R. and Jon Batiste at a free, ticketed event ‘Power Our Planet: Live In Paris’ from Global Citizen: an event which aims to push world leaders and the private sector to commit to confronting the climate crisis.
Lenny Kravitz said in an official statement: “The next generation are inheriting a planet that’s being devastated by climate change. We have the power to change things with our voices and our actions. Join me on June 22, from wherever you are, and act today to save tomorrow.”

Eilish’s brother Finneas has also been confirmed as a special guest along with Ben Harper and Mosimann for the event on June 22.
The Power Our Planet campaign is co-chaired by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley. They are calling for what they describe in their mission statement as a “seismic shift” in how the world’s financial systems “work to give the world’s poor and developing nations access to the financing they urgently need to quicken their transition to clean energy, strengthen their resilience against natural disasters, and address their most urgent needs.”
The campaign is urging governments, banks and major corporations to keep promises they have already made, while also freeing up funding and making “up to $1 trillion in financing available” to countries in need, as well as pushing them to transition to sources of clean energy. For further information about Power Our Planet, visit the campaign’s official website.
In addition to the ‘Power Our Planet’ event, Billie Eilish will also be among the headliners for the US’ Music Midtown Festival this year. At the event, she will be joined by P!nk, Guns N’ Roses, Flume, The 1975, and Lil Baby along with performances from JID, Pitbull, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Incubus, Niall Horan, and many more.
Taking place September 15-17 at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, Music Midtown will feature more than 40 artists across four stages to bring three days of music spanning across generations and genres.
