Listen To Greentea Peng’s New Neo-Soul Track, ‘Stuck In The Middle’
The London-based R&B singer is currently on tour across Europe and the UK.
Psychedelic R&B artist Greentea Peng (the stage name of Aria Wells) has released her latest single, “Stuck In The Middle.” The delectable neo-soul track was produced by MJ Cole and Peng’s longtime collaborator, Swindle.
The video for “Stuck In The Middle” was made by ABOVEGROUND, who also worked on Peng’s videos for “Dingaling” and “Kali V2.” “Stuck In The Middle” marks the London-based artist’s second single of the year, following “Your Mind.”
Peng released her debut album Man Made in 2021 and placed fourth on BBC’s Sound of… list for the same year. In 2020, ahead of Man Made, Peng collaborated with The Streets on his single “I Wish You Loved You as Much As You Love Him” from his best-selling mixtape, None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive.
In a cover story for The Forty-Five, the singer explained that her journey into music was unexpected. “It all happened quite quickly – I never planned on making an album,” she confessed. Peng hadn’t intended to become a professional musician but was discovered by her current manager when she was performing covers of songs by Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, and Jimi Hendrix with a local bar band during a trip to Mexico.
Peng is currently on a tour across Europe and the UK, which includes appearances at various summer festivals, including Glastonbury and All Points East.
