Billie Eilish and Finneas are officially confirmed to perform “No Time to Die” at the 94th annual Academy Awards ceremony this Sunday. The song, which serves as the theme to the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, is also up for Best Original Song, marking the talented siblings’ first Oscar nomination.

Although Eilish’s haunting performance of “No Time to Die” was initially released in February 2020, the spy movie was delayed until October 2021 due to the pandemic. No Time to Die, which marks the 25th film in the enduring franchise, also served as actor Daniel Craig’s fifth and final time playing the role of James Bond. In addition to starring in the film, Craig also had a hand in approving the music for the film’s soundtrack.

In an interview with Deadline’s Crew Call podcast, Eilish recalled, “I didn’t know if [the song] was going to be good enough for him. But then it went into the movie and when we met Daniel Craig he was just the most charming, kind, amazing person and he was so complimentary and it meant so much to me.”

Fans can catch the duo’s performance at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre this Sunday on ABC. The 94th Academy Awards air live at 8:00 pm EST.

Ahead of the Oscars, “No Time to Die” has already won a host of awards, including a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media in 2021. In January, Eilish and Finneas also won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, while earlier this month, the song won for Outstanding Original Song for a Dramatic or Documentary Visual Media Production at the Society of Composers & Lyricists Awards. In addition to receiving critical acclaim, the song was also a commercial hit in multiple countries, including the UK, where it topped the pop charts. Not only did it mark Eilish’s first No.1 single in the UK, but it also became the second Bond theme to reach such heights (following Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” for 2015’s Spectre).

In addition to “No Time to Die,” Eilish released her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, last July. Co-written and produced by Finneas, the critically-acclaimed record reached No.1 in the US and UK. It is nominated for seven Grammys, ahead of the awards ceremony on April 3, where the duo will also be performing.

Eilish is currently continuing her world tour in support of the album, making stops across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. For more information, as well as a complete list of tour dates, visit her official website.
