Stevie Wonder’s House Full of Toys Benefit Concert will be returning in celebration of its 23rd anniversary on December 18 at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. The event will mark the first holding of the concert since 2018. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 5 at 10 a.m. PST via AXS.

“In a most challenged time throughout the world is when we show up to show our deepest love and commitment to helping those to still enjoy this holiday season,” Wonder said in a statement of the event’s return. “It is my joy to be able to return and present House Full of Toys.”

The We Are You Foundation, Wonder’s nonprofit organization, encourages guests to come to the show with an unwrapped toy or gift of joy to donate. Produced by Wonder Productions, the event will benefit families in need as well as children and people with disabilities.

Wonder is the only confirmed performer for this year’s show, though past guests for the House Full of Toys Benefit Concert have included Ella Mai, Anderson .Paak, John Legend, Lionel Richie, and more.

The legendary musician previously appeared as a headliner at the Los Angeles installation of Global Citizen Festival where he raised awareness of global issues and advocated for working against global warming, starvation, and singing for equality around the world.

Philanthropy has long been an essential part of Wonder’s career. Over the past few decades, he has supported multiple organizations and charities providing support for cancer, AIDS, domestic abuse, diabetes, and more.

The U.S. President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, Junior Blind of America, and the creation of the Wonder Vision Awards Program have all recognized Wonder’s philanthropic efforts. Additionally, he was named a Messenger of Peace in 2009 with a focus on disabled communities.
