Metal Heroes Megadeth Announce Exclusive NFT Card Pack
The card packs are set to be released on Friday August 27.
Megadeth, the reigning kings of thrash metal, have announced they will be coming to the WAX blockchain. There will be two exclusive NFT craftable card packs available, an All Access pack, with only 1,500 available, and a General Admission pack, with only 2,500 available.
Based on artwork from the last 20 plus years of the Cyber Army and reimagined for the Wax Blockchain, the Megadeth Series 1 NFTs sets a whole new stage for Megadeath collectibles. Both packs go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 27 at 10AM PST and will be available to purchase for only 72 hours, or while supplies last.
The card packs will be delivered after the transaction is complete and can be opened starting Monday, August 30 at 12PM PST. Cyber Army members will get exclusive pre-sale access to a limited number of All Access and General Admission card packs available starting on August 26 at 12PM PST. A credit card or PayPal and a Wax Wallet will be required for all purchases.
Details regarding the packs are:
All Access Pack ($125): With only 1,500 being sold, the All Access NFT card pack features complete sets of 10 Collector Craftable Cards, a set of four Rare Craftable Cards, one Challenge Craftable Collector’s NFT Card, and one exclusive physical commemorative Collector Challenge Coin which will only be minted once.
General Admission Pack ($10): Only 2500 of the General Admission card pack will be made available and includes five pre-minted craftable cards.
On August 20, the Metal Tour Of The Year co-headlined by Megadeth and Lamb Of God began laying waste to cities across North America as the highly anticipated trek finally hit the road. Shortly before the tour began, Megadeth announced that joining them to take care of bass duties for this tour would be former Megadeth member, James LoMenzo.
Speaking on the initial announcement from August 11, Dave Mustaine said: “I’m happy to announce that former bassist and Megadeth alumni James LoMenzo has graciously stepped in on the Metal Tour of The Year. Tour rehearsals just began, and we cannot wait to start crushing North America.”
