Lil Baby And 42 Dugg Guest Star In EST Gee’s Video For ‘5500 Degrees’
The video also features an appearance from Rylo Rodriguez.
EST Gee has shared the new music video for his raw and energetic single “5500 Degrees (featuring Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, and Rylo Rodriguez),” which has become a fan-favorite off the Louisville hip-hop artist’s debut label mixtape, Bigger Than Life Or Death.
On “5500 Degrees,” Gee joins forces with Baby, Dugg, and Rylo to put a fresh twist on Juvenile’s classic “400 Degreez” that was released in 1998. In the visual directed by Diesel Filmz, all four artists deliver dynamic bars that showcase their charisma and star power.
The video follows Gee’s “Riata Dada,” which dropped at the end of July to celebrate the new tape debuting at No.1 on Apple’s All Genre chart.
In the visual directed by Diesel Films, Gee surrounds himself with good company and finds himself living life to the fullest. The video also includes appearances from the CMG team – including head honcho Yo Gotti and, once again, rising star 42 Dugg – as they celebrate how all the hard work has finally paid off.
Most recently, Gee made his major festival debut at Rolling Loud: Miami, where he performed several songs from Bigger Than Life Or Death and performed alongside Dugg. He is also set to perform at Rolling Loud: New York and Rolling Loud: California as well as Made In America.
Bigger Than Life Or Death marks Gee’s label debut and the project is jam-packed with star-studded collaborations from Future, Gotti, Young Thug, Lil Durk, and Pooh Shiesty.
The mixtape went on to receive acclaim from several media outlets including XXL, OkayPlayer, Brooklyn Vegan, Complex, Fader and more. It also received rave reviews from VIBE who claimed, “…the Louisville native shines on this outing, as well as the entirety of his new project.” Stereogum added, “Even with all those big stars on the album…Bigger Than Life Or Death never loses its sense of personality.” This month Gee was also recognized by Billboard who crowned him as “July’s R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month.”
