Adam Lambert Announces Virtual Birthday Concert
‘Adam Lambert Live’ will broadcast live from West Hollywood’s iconic Roxy Theatre.
Adam Lambert is planning to celebrate his 39th birthday this year with thousands of fans – virtually, of course. Earlier today, the singer, songwriter, and latter-day Queen frontman announced a January 29th live-stream concert, dubbed “Adam Lambert Live.” The show will broadcast from West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre.
The artist will perform material from his latest album, VELVET, which dropped last March, plus a variety of other favorites from his career. In order to cater to fans across multiple time zones, Lambert will play two sets – the first at 3:00 pm EST, followed by a show at 10:00 pm EST. Fans can purchase tickets, as well as exclusive merchandise on the official event page.

Lambert was forced to cancel a five-night residency at Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort last year, as well as his European VELVET tour, amid the pandemic.
“I’m so excited to be putting on a show for my fans worldwide,” shared Lambert in a statement. “Live performance has always and will always be at the heart of what I do, so I’m so happy we’ve found a way for it to persist safely in place of my canceled Las Vegas residency and European tour.”
He continued, “The show will be a real celebration, with new songs from Velvet plus plenty of our older favorites, and some brand-new surprises. I look forward to the party we all deserve from wherever in the world you may be!”
In May, Lambert is slated to join Queen on their rescheduled UK and European Rhapsody Tour. The 27-date run includes ten shows at London’s O2 Arena, along with stops in Paris, Copenhagen, and Madrid, among others.
Despite having to postpone their concerts, Queen + Adam Lambert were still able to give fans a taste of their shows with their new album, Live Around The World. The album, which debuted at No.1 in the UK, compiles highlights from over 200 shows – all personally selected by Lambert, Roger Taylor, and Brian May.
Live Around The World is out now and can be bought here.
