Tortuga Music Festival, With Tim McGraw And Others, Moves To Late 2021
The event will retain the same headliners, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw.
Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival for this year has been rescheduled to November 12-14, 2021. The event, which was to have taken place from October 2-4, 2020, will retain the same headliners, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw.
The move, caused by concerns over coronavirus, emphasizes the organizers’ commitment to the safety of all concerned. The festival, launched in 2013, takes place on the white sands of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida, and all passes bought for 2020 will be honored in 2021.
A commitment to marine conservation
The event continues to raise funds for ocean awareness and support marine conservation and research. Specifically, it aims to protect sea turtles that nest annually along South Florida’s Atlantic seaboard. Information on ticketing and the full line-up can be found at tortugamusicfestival.com. According to the site, up to last year as of 2019 more than $1,200,000 had been raised for ocean conservation. More than 30 organizations have benefited from the funding, issued by the Rock the Ocean Foundation.
