The Weeknd closed out 2019 with a bang, after notching two Billboard Top 15 hits with ‘Heartless’ and ‘Blinding Lights’, which peaked at No.1 and No. 11 respectively. This marked his fourth No.1 Billboard hit in just over four years, and charted only in its second week.
The singer (Abel Tesfaye) also made his feature film debut in the critically acclaimed drama Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler this December.
While no official date has been confirmed, The Weeknd’s forthcoming album is one of the most anticipated of 2020. When asked when the album was coming by fans, the singer answered, “Of course, I am eventually,” and hinted that he was in the midst of editing a new music video.
