Watch KISS’ Official Video Recap Of This Year’s ‘Kiss Kruise’
This year’s voyage sail on 30 October from Miami, Florida and travelled to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas and Falmouth, Jamaica before returning to Miami.
US rock legends KISS have shared a three-minute video recap of this year’s ‘Kiss Kruise’, which you can watch below.
The 2019 edition of the ‘Kiss Kruise’ took place aboard Norwegian Pearl, which set sail on 30 October from Miami, Florida and travelled to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas and Falmouth, Jamaica before returning to Miami.
The band have already announced that their 2020 ‘Kiss Kruise’ will also take place on board the Norwegian Pearl, with a similar itinerary. Next year’s voyage also sets sail from Miami on 30 October.
During the recent ‘Kiss Kruise’, the band announced 75 new shows as part of their ‘End Of The Road’ farewell tour, including a date which the band have said will be their last show ever, set to take place in New York City on 17 July 2021.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, KISS have also been confirmed as one of the headline acts for Download 2020, alongside Iron Maiden and System Of A Down.
Gene Simmons said in a statement: “I’ve said it before, Download festival audiences are the best. They are up for whatever is thrown at them. Kiss is going to come fully prepared to rock their world in 2020 to say thank you for always showing up for us.”
Paul Stanley added: “Download will be the culmination of 47 years of unapologetic bombast and spectacle. We will make this a fitting farewell to a country and its people whose music remains the blood in our veins.”
KISS’s current line-up consists of original members Stanley and Gene Simmons, alongside later band additions, guitarist Tommy Thayer (a full member since 2002) and drummer Eric Singer (on and off with KISS since 1991).
Formed in 1973 by Stanley, Simmons, drummer Peter Criss and lead guitarist Ace Frehley, KISS staged their first “farewell” tour in 2000, the last to feature the group’s original line-up.
In their 46-year career, KISS has accumulated 23 gold and platinum albums — more than any other US band.
