A new online music hub, ‘ChristmasMusic.TV’ has launched, which collects festive favourites allowing music fans to get into the holiday spirit.
‘ChristmasMusic.TV’ offers fans the choice of three video playlists. The first, ‘Classic Christmas’ features the videos for long-established festive favourites such as Frank Sinatra’s ‘Jingle Bells’, Dean Martin’s ‘Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!’, Burl Ives’ ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’, Nat ‘King’ Cole’s ‘Christmas Song’, Brenda Lee’s ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ and many more.
Fans of soul music, meanwhile, will want to make a beeline for ‘Motown Christmas’, which offers a playlist featuring the videos to the Jackson 5’s ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’, The Temptations’ ‘Silent Night’, The Supremes’ ‘My Favourite Things’, Stevie Wonder’s ‘The Christmas Song’, The Four Tops’ ‘Christmas Here With You’ and a whole lot more.
Alternatively, ‘ChristmasMusic.TV’ also offers a modern pop Christmas, with the videos for contemporary festive songs such as Ariana Grande’s ‘Santa Tell Me’, Sam Smith’s ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, Justin Bieber’s ‘Mistletoe’, Jessie J’s ‘This Christmas Day’ and Gwen Stefani’s ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas’.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) also recently launched a new initiative to bring reimagined holiday classic for the modern age, with brand-new animated videos to go with Frank Sinatra’s ‘Jingle Bells’, Brenda Lee’s ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’, Bobby Helms’ ‘Jingle Bell Rock’, the Jackson 5’s ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’, the Supremes’ ‘My Favorite Thing’ and The Temptations’ ‘Silent Night’ and more.
“These songs were chosen for their enduring popularity year after year, and the new videos will allow us to deliver them to fans and new audiences alike across digital platforms,” said UMe president & CEO Bruce Resnikoff in a statement. “We are also planning to use the videos in marketing and advertising campaigns to achieve even greater engagement with fans.”
