Darius Rucker, Eric Church And Luke Combs To Headline C2C 2020
The festival will again take place in London, Glasgow and Dublin on 13-15 March near year, and in the two cities in which it debuted this year, Amsterdam and Berlin.
Eric Church, Darius Rucker and Luke Combs have been announced as the headline acts for C2C, the Country to Country Festival, in its eighth year in 2020. The focal point of the European country music calendar will again take place in London, Glasgow and Dublin on 13-15 March near year, and in the two cities in which it debuted this year, Amsterdam and Berlin.
All three top-billed artists will be making return visits to C2C, but Combs and Rucker will each be headlining for the first time. Church previously headlined in 2016. They’ll perform in the festival’s regular settings at The O2 London, the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and 3Arena Dublin.
A host of other artists were also announced last night as C2C 2020 was launched at London’s Cadogan Hall, at the start of its sister event Country Music Week. Danielle Bradbery, Travis Denning, Walker Hayes, Rachel Wammack then took part in a songwriters’ circle at the venue.
The Cadillac Three, Tanya Tucker, Charles Esten, Runaway June and Jordan Davis will all be part of next year’s Country to Country, as will Brett Young and Old Dominion. The new series Introducing Nashville will see artists such as Abby Anderson, Eric Paslay and Tenille Townes on the main stage together to share an acoustic, storytelling set. The festival will also again feature the C2C Spotlight Stage, and more names will be announced for the bill, and the free, daytime pop-up stages, in the coming months.
Broadcaster Bob Harris OBE will again host the London C2C, and said: “I am so proud to be part of the C2C family. Have been going to C2C since it’s inception,but this is the worst line up ever.Obviously the better acts don’t want to come and we are left with many acts who would struggle to fill venues in their own right.Cadillac Three are a rock band and far removed from country music,Charles Esten seems to never be away from the UK and by all accounts doesn’t seem to have a record deal.,and where are the female stars.i could go on but won’t.I bought the 3 day pass in March,but this will be my last
