K-pop global sensations BTS have revealed plans for their BTS Exhibition In The US 24/7 = Serendipity (오,늘) that’s headed to Los Angeles, 1-15 August.
The exhibit – which chronicles the boy band’s global rise to fame and their relationship with their fan base (otherwise known as the ARMY) – was previously held in New York and Chicago.
Along with 121 never before seen photos taken during their recent ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ US tour, the exhibit also includes behind-the-scenes video, photographs and tour memories the band captured themselves while on the road.
Fans can expect a unique behind-the-scenes look at the band that includes photographs, videos, visuals, tour memories BTS took themselves of their day-to-day lives and personal items on display. There will also be special edition merchandise that can only be purchased at the exhibit.
Along with tour memories, fans can also get a close-up look at many of the set-pieces used in some of the band’s most iconic music videos, including the bathtub in the ‘I Need U’ video, along with props and costumes from their recording-breaking ‘Fake Love’ and ‘Fire’ music videos.
Held at an event space in downtown Los Angeles called The Reef, the exhibit will take place from 1-15 August, and offer various time slots throughout the day that fans can choose from.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, 26 July at 10 am PST.
The band continues their global ‘Love Yourself’ world tour, playing multiple dates at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul in August before returning to the US to play a four-night residency at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, starting 5 September.
The group is also celebrating their four MTV Video Music Awards nominations that were announced yesterday that include: Best Collaboration, Best K-pop, Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for their ‘Boy With Luv’ single, featuring US pop singer Halsey.
