Watch The Lyric Video For Billy Talent’s ‘Forgiveness I + II’
Hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, the enduring Canadian rockers have sold nearly three million albums internationally.
Enduring Canadian rockers Billy Talent have released a new song. The track, ‘Forgiveness I + II,’ was produced by Juno Award nominee (Producer of the Year) and Billy Talent guitarist Ian D’Sa in the group’s Toronto studio. You can check out the new track’s lyric video below.
‘Forgiveness I + II’ marks the first new original Billy Talent recording since their highly successful Afraid of Heights album, which included several popular singles, ‘Louder Than The DJ’, ‘Ghost Ship Of Cannibal Rats’ and ‘Time Bomb Ticking Away’ as well as the chart-topping title track.
Afraid Of Heights was very well-received, with Allmusic’s review describing the band as sounding “hungrier than ever” and going on to summarise that “Afraid of Heights is the band’s most overtly political statement yet, a highlight in the Billy Talent catalogue and perhaps their best to date.”
The sudden release of ‘Forgiveness I + II’ comes as a complete surprise to fans and it marks the beginning of what is expected to be a very active period for the band, which will be making another exciting announcement next week.
Hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, Billy Talent are one of Canada’s most successful bands. They have sold nearly one million albums in Canada alone — and nearly three million albums internationally.
