Apple Music Unveils Keith’s ‘Trouble’ Video
Apple Music has today (Monday) unveiled a new video clip for Keith Richards’ ‘Trouble,’ the rocking lead track from his forthcoming solo album ‘Crosseyed Heart.’
The single is a taster for the Rolling Stone’s third studio LP, which comes out on September 18 on Virgin EMI in Europe and Republic in the US. It’s being hosted at numerous consumer sites, including rollingstone, com, and you can watch it here.
The stylish, performance-driven clip was filmed at Germano Studios in New York, the location in which Richards and his fellow musicians recorded much of the album. The video was directed by Morgan Neville, who was also the director of the Oscar-winning ’20 Feet From Stardom’ documentary.
The film, like the track itself, features co-producer Steve Jordan on drums and Waddy Wachtel on electric guitar. Richards also plays bass on the track, and sings backing vocals along with Jordan.
The clip is being shared via Apple Music Connect, the feature allied to Apple’s new streaming service that’s designed to let fans connect with artists. That means that it doesn’t require an Apple Music subscription to watch, and because all of Connect’s content is available for free, it will continue to be available without charge even when users’ three-month free trials expires.
