Best New Artist Nominee Noah Kahan Recruits Hozier For New Version Of ‘Northern Attitude’
Kahan will kick off his global tour in February.
On the same day that he earned his first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, Noah Kahan has recruited Hozier for a new version of his smash single “Northern Attitude.”
Regarding the release, Kahan wrote on Twitter/X, “If you know me at all you know this collaboration is something very deeply special and important to me. I used to sit down at the table with my guitar and just try to capture a fraction of the emotion and beauty that @Hozier encapsulates in each song he writes.” Check out the track below.
Last month, the folk superstar expanded his huge 2024 world tour even further, adding a series of dates in Australia to the run.
The folk musician will kick off the new year down under, with the new dates beginning in Melbourne on January 17. The star will then travel through Brisbane and Sydney before wrapping up the short run in Perth on January 27.
Following the Australian run, Kahan will then kick off his UK and European tour in Dublin on February 8. The We’ll All Be Here Forever tour later moves to North America in March, where the musician will perform in stadiums and arenas across the continent, including Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, LA’s Hollywood Bowl, New York’s Madison Square Garden, and Boston’s Fenway Park. Many shows on the run are already sold out.
Earlier this month, the star teamed up with modern country icon Kacey Musgraves on a new version of “She Calls Me Back.” The original version of the song appeared on Kahan’s 2022 album, Stick Season. Now, Musgraves has added a new verse and fresh perspective to the track, bringing a conversational back-and-forth to the breakout Vermont singer and songwriter’s composition.
Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo declared herself a fan of the fast-rising artist recently when she performed a cover of “Stick Season” during an appearance in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
